- 1). Flatten two cardboard boxes so that you have two large square or rectangle shapes to work with.
- 2). Draw a large oval shape on each cardboard box, making sure they are the same size. The ideal size covers the area from your neck to just above your knee and is wide enough to extend 4 inches past either side of your body.
- 3). Cut out the oval shapes using a pair of scissors. Make two 1/4-inch holes with the point of the scissor blade at one end of each oval. Space them at least 10 inches apart.
- 4). Paint the ovals brown and leave to dry.
- 5). Put the two ovals on top of each other and line up the holes that you created in step 3.
- 6). Cut two lengths of string measuring 15 inches. Tie a large knot at the end of one piece of string. Feed it through one of the holes. Pull it through until the knot blocks the hole and stops it moving further. Feed it through the hole in the other oval shape. Tie a knot so that it is fixed into place.
- 7). Repeat step 6 for the other set of holes in the oval shape. This gives you two loops that are supported by your shoulders.
- 8). Cut 10 lengths of string ranging from 3 inches to 10 inches in length. Paint them green and leave them to dry. Attach these seedling shoots to your hat.
- 9). Glue one end of the green string to the end of a green straw, and leave it to dry. Attach the opposite end of the straw to the top of a brown hat using glue.

Dress up as the seed by putting on your brown clothes, brown shoes and the seed-shaped costume. Slip your head between the two lengths of string so that each string rests on a shoulder. - 11
Put on the brown hat with seedling shoots.
