Many bloggers deny requests to write a guest blog, and really that is short-sided thinking.
Let me explain why? First, if you compose a guest blog for someone else you are opening yourself up to all their network of friends, associates, and faithful readers.
Many of whom might be interested in what you do, think or sell, and most of these folks are readers that may never have discovered your blog, insight, or business website online.
Of course, there are many reasons why people choose not to do any guest blogging and yes, some of the excuses are indeed legitimate.
Yet, some are not, or they a usually not decent excuses.
The most common excuse is that it takes time.
Indeed it does, however, you must also realize that the rewards are quite good too, for instance meeting folks that you normally would not meet no matter how many blog posts you created.
Another, excuse is that the guest blogger is unfamiliar with the inviting blogger and thus, does not know what to write about.
If this is the case, there is a very simple solution.
See if the blogger making the request is interested in an interview by email.
They ask the questions relevant to their readership and you answer the questions.
They edit and tidy up and post it all.
Thus, you have done very little work, but still get maximum benefit.
Plus, the inviting blogger will be very happy with it, because, well, because it is exactly what they wanted and they will take the credit for getting the interview with you and so everyone wins and you have upgraded your credibility and gained access to a completely new audience.
Think on this.
