- 1). Open the 1996 Honda Accord's door and locate all of the securing screws around the frame of the door. Remove all of the Phillips-head screws with the Phillips-head screw driver.
- 2). Pry off the window knob with the flat-head screw driver, if the window is manual. Pull the door panel way from the door frame along the edge until all of the plastic locking pins pop off.
- 3). Pull the door panel off of the door frame. If the locks and windows are electric, then disconnect the wire connections. Lift up on the plastic locking tabs and pull the connectors away from the door panel. Place the door panel in a clean, dry, safe place for storage.
