"The money is in the list," as they say.
Microsoft spent Four Hundred Million dollars on Hotmail back in the 90's - not because they needed an email program, but because they knew the value of a large list of email subscribers.
They acquired about Nine Million with the deal.
You don't need that many.
You could retire with less than a Hundred Thousand.
Probably less than half of that would do.
And getting them is not as hard as you might think.
Just put up a simple squeeze page.
But don't just whip one together without knowing how to do it, because what you say, when you say it, and how you say it is very important.
How to create a squeeze page: Pre-requisites
  • You need an irresistible free offer.
  • You need an autoresponder email sequence in place.
  • You need a web hosting platform.
Required
  • You need to communicate benefits with bullet points, audio and/or video.
  • You need a form to capture your visitor's first name and email address.
  • You should not provide any links that navigate away from your squeeze page.
  • You should tell 'em you hate SPAM.

    It'll make them feel better.
  • You should include 'Privacy,' and 'Terms of Use' links to build trust.

  • Qualify your visitor; e.

    "Tired of struggling?"
  • Then grab their attention; put your biggest benefit in a headline!
  • Increase trust with unsolicited testimonials.
The basic idea is to offer something of real value; something that'll solve one or more of the many problems facing your prospect.
Give it away in exchange for a name and email address.
