You are now ready to attach the umbilical cord to your placenta. The one end that you left as unfelted should be placed where you wish to attach your cord. Simply begin felting this to the placenta. Remember to go all the way around the cord, and into the base of the cord. You will want this to be firmly attached. Since I have a smaller placenta, I decide it is firm enough when I can pick up and move the placenta, simply by holding the cord.
