- 1). Turn the faucet off. Inspect the rear edge of the FF-100 Brita filter to find the cartridge release button.
- 2). Grasp the old filter cartridge. Pull it straight up to remove it. You may want to support the faucet spout with your other hand while doing this.
- 3). Discard the old Brita filter.
- 4). Insert the new FF-100 Brita filter into the mount. Line up the notch on the bottom edge of the filter with the groove on the mount to ensure the filter is attached properly.
- 5). Push the filter downward until you hear it click. This lets you know the filter is correctly installed. The filter meter will now turn green again. The meter has been reset.
