Being tired is one thing, but if your beginning to feel as though even getting out of bed is a daunting thought, then you are probably feeling very frustrated by now.
Where have the days gone where you used to look forward to the next day, bouncing out of bed and running down those stairs wondering with excitement at what today can bring.
You probably last felt like this when you were a child, right? If so, then this is a real shame for all of us who are feeling a thought of dread, when daily tasks come our way because the tiredness bug has just made an appearance once again in your life.
But what I have discovered is that, the more you know and understand, about your enemy, the easier it is to outwit the enemy.
Look at these pointers here and hopefully this will awaken you to know how easy it can be to think your way to feeling more fresh and alive everyday.
Today, modern day life is so much easier and technological advancements are one of the main reasons for this, but have you thought about the amount of information your mind absorbs, even by just taking a bus ride to where you work everyday? Advertisements trying to persuade you to buy something, or giving of messages which may even be negative, which is not good even if you are not really focusing on them, as the brain may still pick them up without you even noticing.
Then after the pain staking commute home from work, you may sit yourself in front of the television and allow more commercial messages to wash over you, again these could be influencing your state of mind.
Recent surveys have shown that in the United States alone, the average person can see up to 3000 of these messages every day.
Now this is a staggering figure and you can probably now see why one may feel overwhelmed with information sometimes, obviously leaving you feeling mentally drained and physically tired.
Are you going to bed at night with too many things on your mind? Again this is going to have an effect on how much sleep you are getting and then tiredness is going to control another day in your life.
Do something which relaxes you and you enjoy, because this will make it easier for you to apply.
Do you enjoy music? This will help if you listen to relaxing sounds before you sleep, or even having a nice relaxing bath before you go to bed.
If you still feel wide awake after that, then reading a book is a good thing to try.
So hopefully you can begin to see that we all have a choice as to what we feed our brains from day to day, and allow this thought to give you confidence when facing your challenge with tiredness.
Feeling in control mentally can only be a good positive step towards changing your life for the better.
A book I read once stated that "We are all born with a will power, we just need to realise it".
