• 1). Press the “Home” key. Press the “Menu” key below the display screen.
  
  
• 2). Tap the “Settings” option. Select “Privacy,” then “Factory Data Reset.”
  
  
• 3). Tap the “Reset Phone” button.
  
  
• 4). Wait for the HTC EVO to complete the reset procedure. The phone will power down and power up again at the end of the reset process.
  
  

Device Keys

• 1). Power off the EVO.
  
  
• 2). Press and hold the volume-down button on the right panel of the phone. Press the power button at the same time.
  
  
• 3). Wait for the display screen to activate, then immediately release the volume-down button.
  
  
• 4). Use the volume buttons to select the “Clear Storage” option displayed on the screen. Press the power button to complete the reset procedure.
