- 1). Turn on the phone that you send your Facebook status updates from.
- 2). Start a new text message by tapping or selecting the "SMS" or "Messages" option from the main menu of your phone.
- 3). Enter "32665" as the recipient.
- 4). Enter "Off" (without quotes) as the body of the message and press your phone's "Send" key. Do not type the quotes around the word "Off."
