- 1). Place the potpourri in a large enough bowl to facilitate mixing. To avoid permanent absorption of the oils into the bowl and spoon, use metal.
- 2). Place three drops of cinnamon, two drops of cloves, two drops of rose, and one drop of sandalwood onto the potpourri.
- 3). Mix the potpourri gently to disperse the oil.
- 4). Return the potpourri to its desired container.
