In today's interconnected world, an organization has to establish the right connect both internally and externally. And how that should be done whether in the good times or in the time of a crisis is what 360 degree communication is all about. That was the essence of the discussion that Nidhi Mahesh, a communications specialist from Mindtree consulting had with the students of the FW0709 batch. Nidhi, drawing on her experience of having worked for the corporate communication divisions at places as diverse as IIM Calcutta and Mindtree, explained how organizations, especially large ones, forget the value of having a structured communication process for both their internal (employees) and external (customers) stakeholders. The lecture gave the students an overview of this emerging field in the corporate world and why 360 degree communication should do exactly what it means, communicate with everyone around!
