What do we know about Rousseau in the 16 years between coming to the island and meeting the Oceanic people? It seems like a huge gap. The survivors accomplished so much in 44 days or so until the end of Season 1, and it seems Rousseau did almost nothing. When did she give up trying to get her daughter? And how come she didn't get sick like the rest of her crew?
