- 1). Connect your mobile phone to your computer using a sync cable. Most phones usually come with this at the time of purchase. If yours did not or you lost the cable then you can purchase one (See Resources below). These usually cost about $15 to $20.
- 2). Install the computer software for your phone. This software will allow your phone to synchronize its contacts, text messages and other data with your computer. Your phone should have come with this software. If you have lost it, go to your phone manufacturer's website and download it.
- 3). Connect the phone cable to the port on the bottom of your phone. Connect the other end via USB port to your computer.
- 4). Launch the phone software application by going to your "Start" menu. Click on the "File Menu" and click on "Synchronize Phone." This will download all of your data to your computer including your text messages.
- 5). Click on the relevant text message and go to "File" and then "Print."
