- 1). Click on Mail at the top of the software program. Go to the Tools menu when the Navigation Pane appears.
- 2). Click the New Rule button to alter the email account settings. Choose "Start From a Blank Rule." Select when messages should be checked for forwarding, then check the boxes next to the conditions for the incoming messages that you prefer.
- 3). Edit the rule description to your preference. You can set the rule to auto-direct emails from certain accounts or all emails globally sent to you.
- 4). Select "Actions," then redirect to the people or distribution list that you prefer. Enter the email address that it will be sent to. Identify the rule with a name.
- 5). Select the button labeled "Run this rule now on messages already in 'folder'." Create the rule on all accounts and select Finish.
