Christmas is the time of year that we find ourselves reflecting on what family means to us.
Not sure why we don't do this, let's say in February, March, April etc.
, but the season always stirs up memories of our loved ones.
But there are a few things about the holidays that we could do without, like waiting in those ever so long lines at the mall, the last minute shopping on Christmas Eve that most men do (not sure why they wait until the last minute to shop), the endless hunting in bargain bins to find a gift on your list, but can't, all of those bah humbug people who walk around scouring like Ebeneezer Scrooge, not finding a parking space anywhere near the vicinity of the front door to the mall, then finding your car covered with the new fallen snow upon your arrival back to your car (ug).
Even though we have to endure all of these unfortunate incidences before the holidays, our spirits will always be heightened when it comes to family gatherings.
Christmas is all about togetherness, love and laughter, but lately it has become a day of the year on how much money you can spend or how quick you can open one present to get to the next.
The meaning of Christmas may have somewhat been lost throughout the years, as some of us may have forgotten the true meaning for the season.
What would you give to have a nice relaxing dinner with your family this year, great memories, even better stories, all without overspending and going in debt? It's all -- Priceless.
