- 1). Place the blade of the flathead screwdriver between the dashboard and the grille at the top of the dash, directly in line with the stereo. Twist the blade to release the clips on the grille, then lift the grille straight up and remove it from the dashboard. Remove the single torx-head screw at the back of the cavity created by the grille using the torx-head screwdriver, then remove the plastic insert from the dashboard.
- 2). Pull the vents located just above the radio straight back towards the back seat using your hands. Set the vents to the side. Remove the two torx-head screws just above the radio using the torx-head screwdriver, then pull the climate control bezel away from the dashboard.
- 3). Unscrew the stereo from the dashboard using the torx-head screwdriver. Lift the deck out of the dashboard, then unplug the wiring from the backside of the deck using your hands. Pull the deck out of the car.
