- 1). Open your web browser and navigate to Google Scholar at scholar.google.com
- 2). Log in to Google by clicking the "Sign in" link at the top of the screen. If you already see your Google username, you are already signed in.
- 3). Click on "Scholar Preferences".
- 4). Select the "Show links to import citations into" option under "Bibliography Manager" and choose which format you would like to use from the drop down.
- 5). Return to the Google Scholar main page and locate the article you want to cite using the search bar.
- 6). Click the "Import into" link under the appropriate search result.
