The Wedding Is Over, So What Are You Going To Do Now With Your Wedding Bouquet?

The wedding bouquet as followed by the tradition, usually supposed to be thrown away to the female visitors and let them fight as who would be able to catch them, and for the fortunate catcher, people would go under the belief that she'd be the next to get married. But in modern times like today we are in, some of the brides do not let their lovely bouquets to just be tossed apart. So instead of throwing away the actual bouquet, the bride will just prepare a decoy bouquet. This way, the bride will be able to keep them intact and think over as how she can fully maximize the loveliness of the blooms she held on her hands at her big day.

Listed here are some helpful recommendations for the bride on how to maximize the usage of her wedding bouquet after the wedding:
  1. Preserve them.

One of the most famous way to convert your wedding blossoms into a souvenir item is simply by drying them. You can opt for a professional help to do this method for you as they know what to do like either dry them using silica gel and place them in any nice containers or have them pressed and put in a decorative frame for you.
  1. Organize a bouquet dance in  your chosen location.

This is probably one of the best options rather than throwing out your bouquet. This bouquet dance aside from being entertaining, you could give your visitors who are married couples a real good time. The disc jockey at your bouquet dance will play music as to which all the present married couples will be asked to go dancing at the center, and then for after a few minutes, the disc jockey will announce and instruct all the couples married for less than 5 years to leave the dance area, then those married for 10 years, then 15 years, and so on and so forth, until the couple married for the longest time will be left alone at the center and that signals you the right time to present to that couple your bouquet as a reward.

          3. Thank someone who has been helping you in your wedding preparation.

If there is someone close to your heart and who has been a big help to you during your wedding preparation, like your mom, sister, or your chosen maid-of-honour in your wedding, you could thank her by presenting your bouquet as a thank you gift. In addition, all of your female visitors can be given a single piece of flower each from your bouquet as a symbol of your happiness and good luck.

   4.    Offer them to your friend or loved one who wasn't able to attend on your wedding day.

If you have a sick grandmother or simply weak due to old age, offering her your bouquet upon your visit right after the wedding could be one tender gesture to make up and cover her  frustrations for missing your big day.

If there is someone significant in your life who already passed away but had mentioned to you his desire to attend to your wedding day even before his death, this is the right time to offer him your bouquet and have it displayed on his grave. Simply by doing this, you will gave him the satisfaction to be a part of your special event.

If you decide to keep and maintain your bouquet after the wedding, place them in somewhere cool and dark immediately right after the wedding ritual. It is still you who decide on what to do with your bouquet. Keeping it inside the refrigerator for a few days since the day of your wedding, would preserved them and can still be a nice present to be given to someone even days had passed since the wedding. Try to utilize and maximize the usage of your wedding bouquet with these helpful recommendations.
