- 1). Choose fruit that either matches or contrasts with the flowers. Medium-size, hard-skinned fruit works the best. Try lemons, limes, lady apples, tangerines, small pears, kumquats or fresh cranberries. Wash the fruit.
- 2). Put the fruit in the large bubble vase to within 2 inches of the top. Fill the vase with water to cover the fruit.
- 3). Form a ruffle of greenery around the top of the vase's opening by sticking the stems in between the fruits. The fruits will hold them in place.
- 4). Cut one-third of the flower stems to 6 inches high, one-third to 4 inches high and one-third to 3 inches high.
- 5). Place the shorter flowers around the rim of the bubble vase in between the greenery. Place the 4-inch flowers toward the center. Put the 6-inch high flowers in the center and among the 4-inch flowers. This arrangement gives a domed look to the arrangement. Slip the stems in between the fruits.
- 6). Fill in between the large flowers with smaller flowers such as mini carnations, wax flowers or baby's breath.
- 7). Compose the smaller bubble vases the same way, keeping the final arrangement smaller than the larger bubble vase.
- 8). Place the large bubble vase in front of the bride and groom. Put the smaller vases equidistant apart down the table.
- 1). Roll out a quarter-size piece of floral clay. Stick it to the center of the bubble vase. Push an 8-inch tall pillar candle onto the clay. Fill the bottom of the bubble vase with one inch of water.
- 2). Cut the stems of large flowers such as peonies, roses, carnations or chrysanthemums to 2 inches long. Lay them around the bottom of the candle with their stems facing toward the candle and their heads to the outside of the vase. The ends of the stems will be in the water.
- 3). Cut the stems of smaller flowers, such as mini carnations, asters or sweetheart roses to 1 inch long. Place the smaller flowers on top of the larger flowers right next to the candle. The flower heads of the smaller flowers hide the stems of the larger flowers.
- 4). Twist the holiday garland into a wreath that's slightly larger than the bottom of the bubble vase. Put the wreath around the bottom of the bubble vase.
