- 1). Insert the cassette tape into the player and rewind the cassette to the beginning.
- 2). Connect the stereo cable between the headphone jack on the cassette player and the microphone input on the computer.
- 3). Open the recording program.
- 4). Press play on the cassette player and record on the computer at the same time.
- 5). Stop the recording once the first song ends. Save this recording as the name of the song. Repeat this process for each track, saving each recording in the same place.
- 1). Locate and highlight each of the recorded songs.
- 2). Right-click on one of the songs. Hover over "Send to" on the pop up menu. In the "Send to" sub menu, select your disc drive (usually drive E).
- 3). Insert a CD into the computers disc drive. Under "My Computer," select your disc drive and open it.
- 4). Verify all the files are there, then select "Burn to Disc".
