Restless leg syndrome or RLS is a common condition that is characterized by discomfort in the legs that may range from the feeling of wanting to move it, itching, creeping, tingling and burning sensation.
It can also lead to sleep problems as this discomfort often occurs when you are at rest.
If you have been battling with this condition and you are looking for ways on how to treat restless leg syndrome, you might be glad to know that simple lifestyle changes can help you get over with this particular condition.
Although there are medications and pain relievers that your doctor may give you, you can also do something on your part by learning a few home remedies and lifestyle changes.

- Manage stress and find ways to relax.
Stress can make restless leg syndrome worst.
As stress in inevitable, you have to find ways to manage it.
Yoga, breathing exercises as well as meditation can be of good help in this area.
Taking a break from work can also give you a good breather from the everyday stress at work.
- Cut down on alcohol, tobacco and caffeine.
Aside from possibly aggravating the discomfort in your legs, these can also make your sleep problems worse.
Keep in mind that caffeine cannot only be found in coffee but in other foods as well such as chocolate and other foods that it may be an ingredient.
- Massaging your limbs before bedtime can also help as well.
