However the best blog that you can have is your own hosted blog which you have control over.
If you have shared hosting blog like Google they can shut your blog down anytime they like and its like that with any other shared hosting blogs.
If you are going to host the blog yourself you will need a domain name for the blog try and pick a name for your blog that is going to relate to what your going to write about.
For instance you might want to start a business blog and call it Marketingnews.
com, this will relate to the search engines better when you start to put content on it.
When you come to choosing a platform for your blog you can have blogger.
com and host it on your site but I have tried to do this before and found it very difficult to setup.
I went with word press which I found more user friendly and the most popular one I could find.
It took me a while to get used to hosting the blog and all the tech stuff that comes with it but six months down the road and I feel like an expert.
