Three Perfect Places to Have Your Santa Barbara Destination Wedding

With the economy in a recession right now, people are choosing to have smaller weddings to save some money.
Even though they are making them smaller, they still want to have the same vision and high quality that they had always imagined having for their wedding.
Destination weddings are very popular too and couples are choosing beautiful settings such as a wedding in California where they may select a variety of locations that often come complete with catering, a spectacular view and destination wedding photographers to capture their special day.
This article will discuss three such locations in California for your wedding.
The first location for your wedding in picturesque Santa Barbara is at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club.
This is one of the original clubs for polo playing in the nation with its pristine green playing fields and gorgeous mountain and ocean views.
The club sits up on a hillside where you could have your wedding ceremony on a beautiful landscaped area outside of the clubhouse.
Following the ceremony, the guests may go to the terrace or the clubhouse for cocktails and the reception.
The food is catered by Pampered palate which used local fresh California ingredients for its dishes.
The second location is one that would be great for wine lovers as it is located at one of the several wineries in the nearby region of wine country.
It is called Gainey Vineyard and is the perfect location for a smaller, more intimate wedding that would take place outside under a grapevine trellis for the ceremony.
The gorgeous wine country provides a beautiful setting for a Tuscan themed wedding.
For the reception, you may also use the tasting room that is decorated with Spanish tile and a wine cellar that can be set up with tables.
The rolling wine country with the beautiful vineyards is a perfect place for your destination wedding.
The final location in coastal area of central California to have your wedding would be better if you end up with a guest list that is a bit larger than just a few family members.
It is the Canary Hotel Santa Barbara and is an upscale boutique style hotel right in the heart of the city center near all of the great shops, cafe's and restaurants.
As many places in Santa Barbara do, it has a great view of the mountains and is right on the Pacific Ocean for wonderful beach access as well.
The hotel is the popular Mission Style and has a rooftop pool and terrace on the fifth floor that offers 360 degree views that would be a great place for the ceremony.
The hotel also has 5 banquet rooms for larger receptions too.
For perfect weather and a location that has both the mountains and the ocean, Santa Barbara is ideal for a destination wedding.
The nice thing about a destination wedding is that you have your wedding and honeymoon location all in one place to be enjoyed by the couple and their closest family and friends.
