The HTC Aria is a budget based Android Smartphone. The phone is made of plastic but it feels solid though. The HTC Aria was a pleasure to use all of the time, it runs Android 2.1, which is the most recent build that manufacturers are offering today. The Aria fully supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for local network connections to routers, headsets, and stereo wireless headphones. The phone can also be connected directly to a personal computer through its USB port.
Keyboard: Aria Smartphone has two on-screen virtual keyboards, one landscape QWERTY keyboard and another one portrait, and an accelerometer automatically switches between the two depending on how you're holding the phone. The landscape keyboard is much easier to use, rather than the portrait keyboard was a bit tight for typing. Though the size is small it is easy for one-handed typing on portrait mode.
Camera: The 5 megapixel autofocus camera takes pleasing and wonderful moments as beautiful shots and focus speeds are reasonable too. The fast and multi-touch display is responsive and easy to use. The camera interface offers a mass of selection that include the ability to pinch the exposure levels, contrast, saturation, sharpness, and switch between different effects such as gray scale and sepia. The mobile phones camera is also capable of recording video at a 640 x 480 resolution. The video is also good and were not pixilated.
Browser: The HTC Aria has a web Kit browser which is pleasure for browsing. Due to the lower resolution screen, some smaller texts were sometimes harder to read than it was on larger displays, it was able to pinch and pull to zoom around web pages, and the phone's 600MHz processor seemed to have no problem keeping up with quick panning and zooming facility.
Music: The music player is easy to use and also provides big thumbnails of album. One can create playlists in a few seconds, and could quickly access the album tracklist or my entire music library by choosing one of two buttons. HTC Aria has a 1,200mAH battery is good for up to 6 hours of talk time.
Drawback: First, the phone doesn't have an over-the-air music store, second, the phone lacks an LED flash, we can not take snap where there is no enough of light. Third the phone comes with preloaded 4 different navigation apps, they can't be installed. Fourth, we can't install .APK files, that means SIRIUS XM is out and cannot run it.
