- 1). Cut the white fabric into one long strip about two feet wide.
- 2). Put on the black shorts. You will have to modify the shorts to gather tightly at the knee. Use a straight pin to gather the excess fabric and pin it. Hide the pin with a small silver buckle. Remove the shorts after you modify them.
- 3). Put on the black tights and white dress shirt. Put on the shorts and tuck in the shirt.
- 4). Wrap the white fabric around your neck leaving a small, 8-inch tail. Wrap the fabric all the way up to your chin. Pull the fabric around to the front, then up from the bottom through the top under your chin. Pull the fabric over the rest of the neck tie and arrange it evenly.
- 5). Put the coat on over your shirt. Button the coat and tuck the ends of the neck tie into the coat. Put on the black loafers.
- 6). Slick your hair straight back and spray it gray with the hair dye.
- 7). Write the words "Common Sense" on the front of the pamphlet. Carry the pamphlet around all day so that everyone will be able to recognize your costume.
