Born April 5, 1973 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Pharrell Williams has been one of the most prolific composers, producers and performers since he began his music career in 1991 working with Chad Hugo as the production duo, The Neptunes. Producer Teddy Riley discovered them in a high school talent show and served as their mentor.
Williams has won eleven Grammys, including two awards for Producer of the Year.
