New England Institute of Technology Description:
The New England Institute of Technology (New England Tech) has a brand new campus in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, located about 15 minutes from the old campus in Warwick. New England Tech is an open-admissions institution that offers over 35 associate's and bachelor's degree programs. Programs range from trade fields like plumbing and automotive repair to some more unusual fields like veterinary technology and game development.
With a quarter system for classes, the school allows students to earn an associate's degree in as little as 18 months and a bachelor's degree in three years. Classes begin four times a year, and students can join at anytime. The New England Tech curriculum balances analytical skills with hands-on training in technical fields, and academics are supported by a 16 to 1 student / faculty ratio.
