- 1). Search through bridal and hair magazines, looking for ideas for not only your wedding hairstyle, but your bridesmaids' hairstyles. While considering updos, curls or other styles, remember the style of their dresses, and try to select options that will complement those dresses.
- 2). Consider the length and texture of your bridesmaids' hair. Do they all have hair long enough for an elaborate updo, such as a French twist, or do some of your girls have thinner, shorter hair that would make such a style impossible?
- 3). Consult your bridesmaids for ideas on how they would like to wear their hair; not everyone has to match exactly. You can set some guidelines that all your girls wear their hair half up, and they can decide what that style may be.
- 4). Decide whether your bridesmaids will wear matching hair pins or floral wreaths to coordinate their styles.
- 5). Consult with your hair stylist for ideas, and make appointments for you and your bridesmaids the morning of the wedding.
