  Poplarville is a town in the southwestern part of Mississippi, approximately 45 minutes from the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Located in a rural area, Poplarville also draws campers to enjoy its small-town ambiance and its well known Blueberry Jubilee that is held every June. One RV park is within Poplarville's city limits and two others are south of town.

Electric connections of 50 amps and shaded sites are are available for RVs. Recreational facilities include a playground for children, a pool and a large water slide. Sunroamers RV Resort Park

• The Sunroamers RV Resort Park, approximately 25 miles south of Poplarville in Picayune, has RV sites that are large enough to handle big rigs and have room for slide outs. The RV sites, which have either gravel, grass or concrete pads, come with sewer, water and electric connections. Most of the electric connections are 50 amps. Amenities around the property include a clubhouse/cafe with an exercise room, game room, showers and restrooms. For recreational enjoyment guests can take advantage of the park's five-acre lake for fishing, a swimming pool, a nine-hole putt-putt golf course and horseshoe pits. A dump station and laundry room are located on the grounds as well.

Clearwater RV Park and Campground

• The Clearwater RV Park and Campground is roughly 20 minutes south of Poplarville in Carriere. An old waterwheel along a pond is a of a park that is located in a forested area of pine and oak trees. The campground has 65 RV sites that are full hook-ups and come with either 20, 30 or 50-amp electric. Wireless Internet is available on a campground with a propane filling station, general store with RV supplies, fire rings, firewood and picnic tables. Guests can also opt to stay in cabins. Recreational facilities include a five-hole, par-three golf course and a playground. The Clearwater RV Park also has restrooms, showers, a laundry facility, a coffee lounge, a gazebo and a clubhouse. Fishing is available at its two stocked ponds.
