Prada eyewear features sophisticated and contemporary design for optical wear. You may have been professionally fitted with a Prada frame by your eye care provider and, to your dismay, found out the frame is discontinued. Frames in this category are generally from a previous collection. A collection runs for approximately a year; however, smaller boutique optical shops may be able to locate frames after the collection has been discontinued. - This designer frame from the 2007 optical collection is noted for its beautiful metal embellishments and feminine appeal. The frame material was plastic and was one of the most popular Prada designs from the collection. The color selection included black, light Havana, nude/pearl and silver/tortoise.
- Heavy, with strong angles, this frame showcased a contemporary design. The stylish frame featured square Swarovski crystals on the temples and an unpretentious Prada logo. The frame material was plastic and featured two-color combinations, one translucent color inside and a solid for the outer part of the frame. The color combinations available were black/purple, black/orange, solid black, gold/tortoise and light Havana.
- Masculine and bold, the design features of this frame are the sharp angles and color texture. Color variation makes this otherwise ordinary style bold and captivating, noted for being a sophisticated design. A small metal embellishment inlaid in the plastic temples has the Prada logo embossed in the sleek detailing. The color variations included gray carbon, brushed copper Havana, gold/tortoise and gloss black.
- This rectangular-shaped plastic frame embellished with the signature Prada stripe with crystal detailing wraps around the front of the frame to the side. The Prada emblem graces the temple of the frame. Bright, bold yet sophisticated, the color designs were: black/white crystals, fuchsia/fuchsia crystals, black/mango crystals, brown/brown crystals and a special edition brown exterior, lime green interior and turquoise crystal design.
- One of the most ornate and chic designs of the Prada eyewear collection featured Swarovski crystal flowers on the temple of the cat-eye reminiscent frame, with small diamond-shaped crystals and delicate studs creating the inner design of the flower. The frame was available in only two color choices: black with onyx crystal detail and tortoise with amber crystals.
- This design features both plastic and metal elements. The front of the frame metal has a brushed finish and the sides are high-gloss plastic with a charming metal embellishment, also brushed, with the Prada name engraved on the side.
Simple yet elegant, this frame was available in four color choices: copper, gun metal, black and silver.
