New Year Clapper

  Outline the clapper shape on a piece of colorful foam. Glue the foam to the outside of one side of the clapper. Repeat the process to cover the other side of the clapper. Arrange glittered number stickers representing the new year on each side of the clapper. Further embellish the New Year clapper by adding rhinestones around the numbers.
  
  

Fan Clapper

  Glue a flat, circular Japanese fan to each of the outer sides of the clapper. Allow the clapper to dry. Now the item claps and fans at the same time.
  
  

Jingle Bell Clapper

  Tie jingle bells to craft floss. Attach the floss between the fingers of the clapper. Cut shapes out of red and green felt. Create designs with glue and glitter on the felt. Glue the felt to the outer sides of the clapper. Allow it to dry. Use the clapper as usual and the bells will add a holiday jingle to it.
  
  

Monogrammed Fancy Clapper

  Draw two outlines of the clapper on a piece of black foam. Cut the outlines out and glue them to the outer sides of clapper. Print two copies of a letter in a fancy but legible font. Glue the letters to the foam. Glue glitter, sequins or rhinestones to the letter. Allow the clapper to dry.
