Thanksgiving is a holiday for food, family and crafts. There are many fun projects you can make for Thanksgiving to decorate your home. The season is full of color as well as turkeys. However, the most important part of Thanksgiving is to enjoy making the crafts while also enjoying the company of those you are thankful for.

Paper Bag Turkey

This craft is great as a centerpiece for the table at Thanksgiving. The paper bag turkey is easy to make with a brown bag, crayons, paint and scraps of felt. Fill the brown paper bag with strips of newspaper and tie it at the top for the turkey's body. Then use a plastic spoon as the turkey's head by pushing it into the opening at the top of the bag. Use strips of construction paper or felt and bright paint to decorate your paper turkey any way you choose.

The bottle pumpkin is a very easy project that can decorate your porch or home. Clean out a 2-liter plastic bottle and fill it with something heavy so it doesn't fall over.
