As investors, we all have to start somewhere.
I have come across many people in my travels and speaking engagements who think that the only way to make big money fast is by starting with a large investment.
The reality though, is that if you're a smart investor you can see big returns without spending a cent.
Following are three such ways.
- Provide a service.
Get creative.
We can probably all think of the basic services like dog walking, tutoring and mowing lawns.
All of those ideas will get cash in your pocket, but there are tons of other creative ideas as well.
For example, you could offer your skills as an expert seamstress or offer to proofread college papers for a fee.
The sky is the limit when you can get creative.
- Sell your stuff.
This is an obvious option, but here's a spin you might not have thought of - swap your stuff.
If you have a lot of books, CD's or DVDs that aren't worth much money, why not try swapping 10 or so of them for something that does have value.
You can then sell it and make some decent cash.
- Sell yourself.
Companies are increasingly looking for new and creative ways to advertise.
Why not offer to sell ad space on your car or in your living room window? You'd be surprised how successful you can be doing this.
The key if you want to make big money fast is simply to be creative and think outside of the box.
It can be done, but there are plenty of other people making their own efforts to do the same.
