I found out about this campground in the KOA Directory, and I cabin camped there in March 2007.

Describe your camping trip:

I chose this campground because I was visiting friends in the area. Luckily, I didn't have to spend much time there.

Pros: Bathrooms were clean but old. Escort to cabin. Far enough off I-10 to lessen road noise.

Cons: Owners spoke broken English. Check in was slow and difficult.

Gift shop cluttered and not adequately supplied. Several old sheds filled with trash and lumber.

Nearby attractions: Tucson, Kartchern Caverns, Saguaro Nationap Park, Tombstone and Bisbee.

Further comments:

OK for one or two nights.
