Instructions
1Read and study the Bible. Believe that the Old and New Testaments are the written word of God.
2
Accept Jesus Christ as Messiah. Admit you are a sinner, repent and ask Jesus into your life. Renounce sin.
3
Research what the Seventh Day Adventists believe. Some beliefs include the role of the prophet E. G. White, the fallen nature of man, the observance of the Saturday Sabbath and soul sleep. Read up on the Adventists online at one of the Adventist organizations or church websites.
4
Visit Seventh Day Adventist churches. Talk to members and the pastor about their beliefs.
5
Become baptized into a Seventh Day Adventist church. This is a public declaration that you believe in Jesus and are ready to lead a new life. Adventists believe in baptism by immersion in water to symbolize a new life and that it is necessary to salvation.
6
Live a Christian life. This includes observing God's commandments, participating in communion and repenting of sins. Seventh Day Adventists believe that salvation results in obedience to God's laws. Continue to read the Bible and pray.
7
Observe Adventist health principles. Seventh Day Adventists believe the body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Dress modestly and use restraint with adornment and makeup. Eat a proper diet and exercise. Vegetarianism is encouraged.
