- 1). Power the RAZR off and back on. Hold down the red "End Call" key until the device completely powers off. Depress the "End Call" key once more to turn the phone back on. If issues are still present, continue to troubleshoot the device.
- 2). Master Reset the RAZR by pressing "Menu" and selecting "Settings," "Initial Setup" and then selecting "Master Reset." Enter "000000" when the device prompts you for the security code; note that if you changed the code previously, you will need to enter that code instead. Press "OK" and allow the RAZR to automatically power off and on again.
- 3). Master Clear the RAZR if issues persist. Press "Menu" and choose "Settings," "Initial Setup" and then select "Master Clear." Key in the security code once more and hit "OK." Assess whether the issues have been resolved once the phone has automatically power cycled itself.
- 4). Contact Verizon at (800) 922-0204 if the problems continue. Discuss your options for replacing or repairing the device under any warranty or equipment protection plans you may have in place.
