3). Type your name or the name of your company in the boxes. The last name field is required, but entering a few letters of your first name will give you more accurate results.
4). Review the results of your search and contact the unclaimed property department in your state for instructions on how to verify your ownership of the financial assets and claim your cash. The contact information will be located on the state's unclaimed property website.
