Top 3 Ways to Exercise Without "Exercising"

The problem with exercise is that it's time consuming hard work.
We all know we should do it, but because it's difficult and takes a lot of time, we find excuses to put it off for a "more convenient time" that never comes.
The trick is to work your exercise into your daily life, making it seem less like exercise.
Here are three great ways to get exercise without feeling like it's exercise.
1.
Play with your kids.
If you're a parent, instead of watching a movie with your kids in the evening, go outside and play baseball with them.
If you have a dog, you and your kids can play fetch with the dog and a ball.
The running around and being active is a great way to get exercise, but it's also fun and good for your family, so it doesn't feel like work.
2.
Don't stand still when you're watching TV or on the phone.
When you do watch TV, or even when you're talking on the phone, pace around the room instead of standing still.
Walking is a great way to get the blood flowing, which is good for mental clarity, so you'll get more out of the conversation or whatever you're watching anyway.
3.
Park further away from the entrance to the store, and take the stairs.
Instead of parking at the closest spot available in the parking lot, park at the edge of the lot.
That way you have to do a bit of walking to get inside.
When you are inside, don't take the elevator -- take the stairs instead.
That way you're still accomplishing what you need to do and getting some exercise at the same time.
Yes, the trick with exercising is definitely to make it feel less like exercise.
You can accomplish this by blending the exercise in with other activities that you enjoy or need to do anyway.
