Movie characters have always been a big winner with Halloween costumes and this year will be no different.
There is no doubt we will be seeing tons of Iron Man costumes this year on Halloween.
The movie was an absolute smash at the box office, raking in an estimated $102 million in the first week, so you can bet a fairly large percentage of the young kids and not so young dads who went along to see the movie will be dressing up as Iron Man himself this year on October 31.
Here are the different types of armor you could wear: 1.
The Red and Gold Armor - Version III.
This is the main type of armor you will see this year on Halloween because it is the most commonly known armor of Iron Man, has a line of action figures made just like it, and is the type worn by Tony Stark when he was fighting Iron Monger, his arch nemesis 2.
Silver Armor - Version II.
This armor is much less glamorous than the red and gold armor, so it won't be as popular.
In the movie, this armor type was the one first built by Tony Stark after being locked up as a hostage.
It had some problems with it and actually froze during flight.
While not as flash as the red and gold armor I am sure you will still see some die hard Iron Man fans dressed up in this disguise on October 31 3.
Metallic Grey - Version I.
This is the very first armor ever built or worn by Iron Man, so you can be sure that some purists will want to be looking like the original thing this year for the Trick or Treat festivities.
