- 1). Fill plastic bin half full with shredded paper.
- 2). Mix in 1/4 bin manure with a garden shovel. Add water until the mixture is moist. Check the bin weekly and add water if necessary to maintain the moistness.
- 3). Leave the bin alone for 2 weeks. The temperature in the bin will increase during this period as the mixture ages.
- 4). Add Red Wigglers worms. Most pet stores will carry these worms, as will bait shops. They multiply fast and eat a lot, which is great for vermicomposting.
- 5). Add rabbit pellets regularly to keep the worms fed.
