- 1). Open the Word document.
- 2). Click the "Home" tab on the command ribbon.
- 3). Click the arrow beside the "Font Color" button in the "Font" group. This button displays "A" and a colored underscore. A chart of color samples appears.
- 4). Click the white sample, the first square in the "Theme Colors" section. The chart disappears. The "Font Color" button shows the white underscore.
- 5). Type the text in the document.
