Personal Branding Online With Video

• Current trends predict that within five years, ALL websites will be VIDEO websites.
• A large majority of people would rather watch video online than read text.
• Anybody who wishes to promote a product, service or business opportunity successfully online would do well to consider using video.
• A powerful platform on which to utilize video is a social media website such as Facebook or You Tube.

But whether or not you use video, simply posting about or talking about your product or service is not the most effective way to go.

After all, what makes your product link, article or video presentation that simply describes your product or service any different to the next person's?

Obviously a video presentation will have more IMPACT, as it is more engaging than text and people can pick up on your tonality and your posture.
Even more effective than simply presenting your product, is using video to BRAND YOURSELF, to position yourself as a leader and to give away free advice and training. In this way you attract people who are interested in what product, service or business opportunity you are offering.

There is a saying in marketing circles, "People Join People, Not Businesses."

By branding yourself, especially using the power of video, you are connecting with the sector of the market that is attracted to your posture and your leadership, and who will be more likely to buy from you or join your opportunity.

There is plenty of room for EVERYONE to be doing this, because the market needs as many leaders as there are different types of people. With 700 million people on Facebook alone, social media is a great place to start.

1.Begin by creating a Facebook fanpage and create interesting and informative videos, just using your webcam.

2.Join lots of internet marketing and network marketing groups on Facebook, and post your videos on their walls

3.REMEMBER to be interactive and positive on those groups, observe their rules and always comment and like other people's contributions

2.Request in the video that people visit and "like" your fanpage and in this way begin to build a list of interested and engaged customers or prospects.

3. Have interesting content on your page, like videos of course and links to articles such as this one, quotes, tips and polls

4. Engage with your fans and establish conversations and connections

5. Never push your product or business opportunity to the fore: focus on forming relationships and giving value

Later, you can add more sophisticated means, but this should be enough to get you exposure and to start you talking to people.
