- 1). Obtain a swatch of the shades of pink used in your wedding.
- 2). Take photos of the wedding venue space, such as the walls and layout of furniture.
- 3). Bring the swatch with you to the vendor, along with the photos of the wedding venue and any table linens and chair covers that will be in the space. If you don't have the actual linens, bring photos of them.
- 4). Compare your color schemes to the shades of pink lighting the vendor has.
- 5). Choose a color that will not clash. If the pink shade cannot be matched perfectly with the pinks you are using, try and choose an alternate pink with a striking difference. For example, if you are using a hot pink, use a soft pink for the lighting.
