- 1). Locate the gas hose clamped to the base of the gas tank on your Quatro Briggs & Stratton engine. Unscrew the clamp with the flathead screwdriver.
- 2). Pull the hose off and position the gas can under the gas tank nozzle to catch the gas.
- 3). Unscrew the two bolts holding the gas tank bracket on the base of the gas tank to the Quatro Briggs & Stratton engine frame. Use the proper sized wrenches to remove the bolts.
- 4). Pull the old gas tank off and put the new gas tank in place. Tighten the bolts through the new gas tank bracket into the engine frame with the correct sized wrenches.
- 5). Push the gas hose onto the nozzle on the base of the new gas tank. Tighten the clamp onto the end of the gas hose with the screwdriver.
- 6). Unscrew the lid and fill the new gas tank with gas.
