- 1). Unhook the dryer connections and pull it away from the wall. Center the blades of the appliance dolly underneath the rear of the dryer.
- 2). Strap the dryer in, using the appliance dolly's straps. Make sure they are tight. If you are using a standard dolly, it's recommended have a tie-down or strap available to secure the dryer.
- 3). Pull the dryer up to carry it to the loading spot. Always push the dryer (or any appliance), rather than pull it. Pulling it can be dangerous.
- 4). Pull the dryer into the truck using ramps. This is the only time you should pull the dryer. Have someone help by pushing and holding the other side steady.
- 5). Set the dryer down beside the cabin. Pull the appliance dolly away from it. Use straps or tie-downs to secure the dryer. Tighten them well.
- 6). Have someone watch the dryer closely when you're transporting it. Drive slowly and carefully; avoid sudden stops and sharp turns.
