Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder - OCD and Smells From Other People

Do you have the type of OCD where when you smell someone who smells bad you just want to tell them to take a shower? Does it drive you crazy to the point where you do rituals so that you won't get contaminated or whatever.
A lot of this has to do with the fact that we want to control things especially when we have OCD.
We must learn to let go of control and know that if someone else smells bad, there is nothing that we can do about it and we have to realize that God has given them free will and if they chose to be smelly, that is their own affair.
You, however don't have to stay around them.
If it is at your job, then you can bear with it for a while, but if it is someone that you work with, just tell them that you need them to take a shower because their smell is polluting the air and making it harder for everyone else to work.
have the gall to tell other people how you feel, because you know that other people are thinking the same thing that you are but they are too bashful to say it.
Also, if you like, you can tell your boss.
If the smelly person is your boss, just tell them in front of a few people that way if they try to fire you, you have witnesses to that fact.
Point it, don't perform rituals in order to deal with this type of OCD, what you want to do is try to be creative in finding a way to get the situation under control.
What I would suggest that if the person that is smelly is your boss, you could say, I didn't want to be the one to tell you this, but there are some people who say that you smell kind of weird or whatever and they complain, now I can't reveal who these people are but I just wanted to give you the heads up.
If you do it in private, they may not feel embarrassed as much and may do something about it! Take action: Make sure that you realize that everyone has free will and when we feel like we have to control what other people do or how they smell, that is OCD and giving into it will only make it worse.
