The center of our family's celebrations and birthday parties was the picnic table.
Weather permitting, that was where all would gather to enjoy ourselves and to make the memories we now share.
Mom would invite neighbors, friends and cousins to our gatherings.
Labor Day was always a very special time because two of the five siblings (3 boys and 2 girls) have birthdays on September 5 and 6.
There would be two cakes, watermelon, barbeque and homemade ice cream.
The ice cream was made using the old crank method and oh, what grimaces the boys would make as they churned and churned.
Dad would actually get hickory from the woods and get up before dawn to start the grill.
We would all love to get back the times we spent at our table.
We have all gone our separate ways.
Mom and dad have been gone for years now.
Many tables came and went in our lives, but we do have some home movies that dad made and the memories that we all made ourselves at our picnic table.
Just think how great it would be to have a picnic table that one could use at home and on the road to make memories of your own.
A portable picnic table would be handy to have for tailgating, hunting, fishing and of course picnicking.
You could sit in comfort as you enjoy your meals or use the table as an extra space to work on your fishing and/or hunting supplies.
Maybe you will be lucky fishing and could use the table to clean the catch of the day.
A foldable picnic table that that weighs 18.
3 pounds holds four people, and measures 52" x 26-1/4" x33-1/2" would be a fabulous addition to your outdoor equipment.
You could make memories at home or on the road.
In years to come this picnic table will have some of the same memories attached to it that our family remembers today.
