- 1). Press the "Menu" key and select the "Options" icon.
- 2). Select "Mobile Network" from the list of options and highlight the "Mobile Network" field.
- 3). Click the trackball and select "Start Provisioning."
- 4). Wait for the update to complete and remove the battery from the BlackBerry 8830.
- 5). Replace the battery after one minute and power the phone back on.
- 1). Press the "Menu" key on the BlackBerry 8830 and select the "E-mail Settings" icon.
- 2). Log in to your e-mail setup account and select "Remove" under the e-mail account you are experiencing problems with.
- 3). Click "Add Account" and enter your e-mail address and password. Wait for confirmation that the e-mail account was successfully added.
- 1). Press the "Menu" key on the BlackBerry 8830 and select the "Options" icon.
- 2). Select "Advanced Options" and click "Applications." Press the "Menu" key and select "Edit Default Permissions."
- 3). Change the "Connections," "Interactions" and "User Data" fields to "Allow." Press the "Menu" key and select "Save."
