- 1). Put the cold water in a large bowl and pour the package of unflavored gelatin into it.
- 2). Boil the 1 1/2 cups water, pour it into the gelatin and mix until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- 3). Pour the birdseed into the hot water and gelatin, and mix thoroughly until all the seed is coated with the water and gelatin mixture. Allow the mixture to set for several minutes so that the seeds can absorb the gelatin.
- 4). Spray a light coat of nonstick cooking spray into the bundt pan. Spoon the birdseed mixture into the bundt pan so that it is distributed equally.
- 5). Press the birdseed mixture into the pan firmly with your hands until it is well compacted. Place the bundt pan into your refrigerator and allow to set for two to three hours.
- 6). Remove the bundt pan from the refrigerator and set it on a countertop. Allow the pan to set overnight so that the gelatin mixture can fully dry, sealing the birdseed together.
- 7). Flip the bundt pan upside down so that the birdseed is facing the countertop. Firmly tap the back of the pan with your hand several times until the wreath comes out.
- 8). Wrap the twine around the top of the wreath three times to create a firm bond. Tie the wreath to a tree branch.
