The celebrity chef Simon Rimmer will be one of the chefs demonstrating in the cookery theatre.
There will also be activities for children to participate and enjoy, as well as the opportunity for visitors to explore the beautiful house and gardens of the magnificent Hardwick Hall.
The London 2012: Olympic torch visiting the Derbyshire Peak District The Olympic torch relay is arriving in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District at the village of Glapwell on June 29, while it makes its way around the United Kingdom.
Other places on the Olympic flame route will include Bolsover, Calow, Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Ashbourne and the regal Chatsworth House, which is famous as Pemberley, the residence of Mr Darcy in BBC's adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
Visitors are encouraged to welcome the runners carrying the Olympic flame as they pass through the Derbyshire countryside.
